Three types of Passports

A passport can be defined as an official document that is usually issued by the local government of a particular country with the personal information of the holder namely date of birth, full names, nationality, finger print and even the passport photo; this is to certify that he ors he is a citizen of that particular country and use this as a ticket to travel to other foreign countries under its protection. When applying for a passport you should be able to know the kind of passport that you are looking for. They are categorized into namely a regular passport, child passport and a temporary passport. The person applying must be able to meet all the demands that are required to get either of the three types of passports. The description of these three types of passports is as follows.

The first type of passport is the regular passport. This is always issued in every country all over the world. They might differ in terms of their appearance but they will all have the holder’s information. A regular passport is only given to someone above the age of fifteen. They can get to have the passport just in case they are travelling even if it is not immediately. Passports do have serial and passport numbers that are very unique to them. It os always valid for just a few years depending on the country. You will have to renew it once it expires.

The child passport is the second one. This is the also common because it is only issued to children. Those kids that are under the age of fifteen cannot be given a regular passport. Children passports do not always have a lot of details in them but that have got the basic information that is needed. The child passport has got the full name of the child, the nationality and the passport photo of the kid. Any child will get to own a child passport only with a valid reason and this will take some time.

A temporary passport is the last one. Just as the name suggests a temporary passport is only issued for a limited period of time. This will always be issued to those that do not own a regular passport yet they need to travel to a foreign country urgently as the page explains. You can also use this passport in to visit any country that demand a regular passport from all its visitors. In such a case the government issues you with a temporary passport that will be valid till when you will be returning back to your country but it mist mot be for a very long period of time.
